Taking it easy

This morning I did go out and do a good bit of clearing in the garden but I have been having a lot of trouble with painful numb hands  and doing a bit of research think I may have aggravated my wrists. It was hurting a bit pulling big weeds out today. Darren and I did take a car full of stuff to the tip which was a good job out of the way.
When I went to the shops I noticed that the tamarix tree is at last going feathery. The best result I have had with this rather doomed tree!
I am planning to make a screen for the dolls house, I cut out the pieces and stained them and have sort of planned out some simple embroidery for the panels. All very tiny so we will see how it goes!

Probably will give the gardening a miss again tomorrow, weather permitting Darren will take me along to the boot sale.

  1. I hope the wrists don’t turn out to be anything too drastic. You’ll probably have to give up digging and hoeing! You’ve not had much luck with the tamerix, but you’ve stuck with it and it really does look nice. Hopefully nothing will fall on it!
That screen looks so fiddly. I can hardly see the pattern on that material. Good luck with sewing that. Bet it’ll look great when it’s done though, and it’ll keep you out the garden for a while.

  2. I hope the numbness settles down too, it is painful and annoying!
The screen will definitely not be a five minute job, I will stick with it though.
