I have kept about a dozen but don’t hold out much hope for them either!
Today I went and did a bit of shopping and then tidied up the other side of the walled garden.
Then I had arranged to go round to Sarah’s to have a hand reflexology treatment. Very interesting and a nice lady, she did give me some ideas on coping with the numbness I get quite regularly in my fingers.
The birds are using the feeders in the garden but now the suet treats re disappearing quickly as a flock of starlings have discovered them! Tina thanks she spotted a woodpecker on one which is great. I have nearly run out of supplies so Tina said she would take me to the garden centre after she had dropped some things of at Skipsea church. Took a quick photo on the phone while she popped inside.
When we got back I got on with dinner and made some cheese scones. After dinner Tina and I went out in the garden for while. Tina did a patch of great clearance in the gravel out front and I got the new plants that arrives into the ground. The sky was great, not colourful, just striking.
Indoors in time to get settled for Casualty.
Did the gourds I dried out go mouldy in the end? Shame really after all the times you’ve tried. Definitely courgette next time, at least you can eat them!
ReplyDeleteI do like the walled garden, specially with the render peeling and the general “old” feeling to it. Great place to sit in the sun. Not so much fun when you have to weed it though.
You certainly know how to fill your days. Gardening, reflexology, cooking. You could do with more hours in a day really, but you’d still fill them. Even a trip to the garden centre and church. I’m going wrong somewhere 😊
I really like the two sky pics. Silhouettes, sun and clouds, what more could you want. You’ve amassed an enormous amount of great pics over the years. You should get more printed and on the walls for others to see.
No, they are still okay.
ReplyDeleteI do like the walled garden, sadly it doesn’t get as much attention as it should!
I think my fingers ache a bit now, but not that surprising I suppose.
I have taken sooo many photos over the years, still enjoy it though.
