Hanging baskets and chair!

This morning Darren and I went off to the boot sale, really lovely weather today and it was very busy. I managed to walk round probably just over half of it and then said I would get a drink and wait on the benches on the way to the market. We both got some cassette tapes and I got an otter ornament, Darren also spotted a doll making book which I got just in case I am at a loss for something to do! As I went out I realised that the benches were now in a different place and Darren hadn’t got his phone today, so waited near the exit and watched for him!
Spotted him okay so all was well. Back at home I went into the garden, got Darren to get the large hanging baskets down for me and then set about replanting them and the other two that I can reach. The photo of the large ones is in the shade, will take more pictures in better light when more plants are flowering.

I took a drink into the summer house and actually amazed to get a starling or two in focus!

They have completely eaten the first peanut butter jar, order home w long this me will last! Had to take these tulips as they are quite stunning.
I finished the dining chair for the dolls house before I went down to get dinner, and after put all the furniture so far into the house!

Not sure what I will make next, have ordered a second hand book of Tudor furniture in the hope that I can design some more items myself.
Off to Hull tomorrow to see a friend that I haven’t seen for a couple of years.

  1. It does look a glorious day in your pics. The boot fair looks extremely busy too! I’ve not been to one in a long time. I do enjoy a good rummage around looking for bargains. There’s always something to be had.
Not too much gardening for you today, which makes a change and is definitely better for you. The walled garden will look great with the hanging baskets in full bloom.
It costs you a fortune to keep those birds fed! The starlings do seem to take more than their fare share.
The dollshouse is coming along. The furniture looked great when pictured alone, but in situ it all looks even better. You’ll soon have it finished at the rate you’re going 😊

It I’ll be nice to have colourful hanging baskets again, need to clear up the we do from the paged area and then get my animal garden ornaments out of storage!
