Last night it looked like it would be a good sunset from my window.
Then Tina came up and said did I fancy a drive down the front as it looked as if it would be a lovely sky. I now make no apologies for the number of pics, could have been a lot more!!

I had a bad night with a painful knee, but strapped it this morning and decided to try the walk to the new pool. A mile and a half, just over I think, and up hill and down dale so to speak. But firstly pictures of the beautiful foxgloves in the front garden.

I tried to keep a steady pace to the pool and managed to get there is 38 minutes,, didn't stop to take photos on the way. Sat on the curb outside as I was tired and hot and bothered when I got there! Took this photo on the way back looking up at the pool in the distance, that was the last climb after a mile and a half.
These fab houses were at the start of the walk back, haven't been that side of town at all and these were fabulous big semis!
Just three pictures of the route, as I walked back to town the way that I had gone there.

Passed this lovely bush as I walked along.
Had a cup of tea when I got to Sainsbury's and then walked into the town and down the high street as I wanted more sport supports and Tina wanted some more pet training mats. I was really beginning to struggle with my ankle by then and when I got there neither item was in stock! But I did go in a newly opened health food shop. so not a wasted journey really. I walked home from town at a much slower pace.
Haven't done a great deal this afternoon, watched some tennis and got a nice dinner for Tina any myself. May watch a film tonight.

  1. Blimey, even better sunset pics than usual, and that's a hard task! They're beautiful over the bay like that. Even the old giant on the bench looks good in them :-)
The walk to the pool was a bit of a trek. Even that last bit in the pic looks hard work. You'll have to try to don the backpack and swim there at least once. Just make sure you pack an oxygen bottle in the pack too!
I think the raised up semis look great, and they seem huge. I could live in one of them. Think of how much junk I could collect :-)
Good luck with the doc tomorrow.
