Darren came rushing up yesterday evening to tell me to look at the sky before he went out to the shed. Very unusual for Darren to take note, that is usually Tina and me! It was greys when he came up and was a great sunset after.

My ankle and knee were quite sore today so I decided against the walk to the hotel pool as I am away this weekend and want to be able to enjoy it reasonably pain free. I had got things to do in town and wanted to get a nice snack for a pack up tomorrow, so went in on the bus. I put my prescription in as I am now out of the strong painkillers. Had quite heavy bags then made my way to the studio where I collected Nessie and my other items.

I realised when I got to the studio that I had forgotten to collect the pills, I thought I would have to get back into town at some point when Donna offered to go and collect them for me. I walked home after that then they got in touch with me to say I had left the pills in the studio! They dropped them off for me a little while ago.
I have been watching the great tennis match this afternoon, Andy did lose but with nothing to be ashamed of, it was a brilliant game.
Off on the coach trip tomorrow, just one night away, so will get packed and sorted and the case downstairs ready as the taxi is coming at 6.45 am!

  1. Absolutely cracking skies! Really like the first one personally. Also love Nessie. The colour and pattern are perfect for it. If you ever get around to making more, can I put my name on the list for one? :-) Its your fault for be so good! The bowls have turned out really well too. It's going to be a lovely set when you've finished. You just need to invite five people round for breakfast then!
Hope the weather behaves for your trip away, and that you have a great time.

  2. The first one was just after Darren had come up to tell me about the clouds! Pretty dramatic in a less colourful way.
Nessie is cute, I will keep you in mind. I really love the shape of those bowls, and that way of decorating them.
