I am trying very hard to remain positive, but it is a bit of a battle at the moment because my right knee is extremely painful and feels in danger of locking up completely every now and again. I have an appointment with the doctor on Friday, I was rather hoping it would not be needed, but glad I booked it now.
Darren and I went to the boot sale, we enjoyed our sandwich and cuppa. I didn't walk much so read to the end of the book in the car. I took a picture of the sky as I liked the clouds.
I did buy a couple of cds for 50 p each, have played them both now, and Darren came back from his wanderings with a great little bookmark.
I did some batch baking when we got back, I try to keep a supply of cottage pies and lasagnes in the freezer.
The jigsaw is proving quite tricky, I did some last night, but today have started to use the storage trays to separate the colours.
I was just looking at my photos earlier when Tina came up to see if I would like to go and see the sea and it was expected to be a very high tide and it is windy When we drove down there was traffic chaos. There was some sort of suped up car event and the traffic was gridlocked. At first we thouthg they had closed the road. Tina took a detour and parked a little way from the front and we walked down.

The sea behind these bikes was wild.

A fuller picture of the bay. Then the hotel.

We then went along to the Spa end, the road was closed but we parked near and walked down.
Will finish with a The Grand, and go and make a cup of tea. It was quite chilly but worth it!

  1. I suppose after going through all the hassle with the ankle it was a bit too much to expect the knee to play ball and be good! Hope the doc has an easy cure for it which doesn't involve operations and recuperating again!
The trip down to the sea was well worth it. Some great photos there. Don't think I'd want to be walking down the front when it's like that. Don't think I'd want to park there either!
Love the sky picture at the beginning.

  4. Oohhh I love a choppy sea great pictures - you do so well despite your pain and discomfort you don't let it beat you or moan about it - do make sure you look after you- batch baking looks yum and such a good idea at least you only have to stand briefly whilst it reheats once you've done all that hard work - I made a lasagne last night for a change think it will be shepherds pie tonight
