I have had a fairly quiet day today, thought the ankle and knee both deserved a bit of a rest. I did catch the bus into town early as Tina has a parcel that needed returning and I had a package to send. Just called in a couple of shops and was home about an hour and a half later, came back on the but too. Darren took me to the shop for a few bits and we ate while we were there, since I have been in I have done a couple of chores but have been watching the gymnastics. Britain are doing really well.
I have been looking through photos, some that Anya forwarded to me and will post a few more from out York visit. I was amused by this poster in the house.
This one  was of Isobel and I arriving.
Then me making myself at home!!

When we went up on the wall I took this one as we made out way to the Henry V11 experience. It was actually in the Micklegate tower.
Isobel sat and started designing a coat of arms for a competition but in the end she decided she wanted to take it home.
She didn't want to try on a heavy helmet, not did Anya, so someone had to!
Then a nice one of Isobel and I when we went for dinner.
When I was out this morning I bought a little jigsaw, thought it was a micro one, I was mistaken!
Tiny was referring to the size as the pieces were large! Very strangely it had three duplicate pieces in which was a little confusing at first.
I liked this cloud formation this afternoon, a little like a tornado.

  1. Glad you took it a bit easier today after your eventful few days away. A little trip out and a lot of telly in is a good way of doing it. Handy having Darren to run to get a bit of shopping and a bit of lunch too.
It's nice to see a few more pictures that include you on today's entry. Makes a change from you always being behind the camera :-) Nice to have reminders of a good time away. Isobel is growing so quickly, where does the time go?
Bet someone somewhere is cursing that they're missing three pieces of a jigsaw puzzle :-)

  2. Very odd, those extra pieces, like you say, someone, somewhere is cursing! It has remained a pretty inactive day, fingers crossed it helps. Less pain anyway even if it doesn't!
