The fabulous sunsets are back with a vengeance, just can't really avoid the aerials as they move round!

Darren dropped me near the post office by 9 am, packages and letters to send, I keep them in business. It was a dull morning with a bit of rain and quite chilly. Got another jigsaw while I was out as The Works has a sale on. I caught the bus and was home by 10.15 am. Took a couple of pictures od sunny flowers as I walked down our road.

Darren had said a neighbours cat had been near my bonsai trees and he though something had been knocked down. The trees were all fine and their leaves are opening now.
It brightened up this afternoon and as I had a letter to post thought I might make it to the park and have a hot chocolate as well. The cafe in the park was closed so as my knee wasn't quite as painful today I took a slow walk down to the front. The tour signs and bunting have started to appear now, we are hosting it on Friday.
Went by what was the war games place which is due to be a leisure complex. I wonder if we will still be in the area when it is finished?
I was so pleased to make it down to the front as the sea was fabulous today.

I had my hot chocolate at Peaches and Cream and then took a very slow walk back. I have made a doctors appointment, but nearly two weeks away, to get some advice on the knee and probably be referred to the hospital This afternoon I have made a good start on the 500 piece puzzle, will take a picture when it is done. I also watched the very first episode of Sherlock. I have had the box set since last year. I thoroughly enjoyed it, a brilliant program. Off to see the consultant tomorrow, may get told off for not wearing the boot!!

  1. What with sunsets, sea and a gorgeous park, you're totally spoiled for photo opportunities! Jealous, me, yes! You have some really good ones there though.
Maybe the consultant won't tell you off at all, specially if you neglect to mention you've been taking the book off :-) I'm sure he'll say all is fine with it and tell you to take it off anyway. Fingers crossed.
Can't believe it bike race time again. Was it last year or the year before I saw it there, I can't remember. I bet you'll make it down there to watch, assuming it's not absolutely throwing it down.

  2. Yes, it was last year we went to see them Mike, not sure if they are coming along North Marine this time, must check the route. I am not intending wearing the boot, managing fine with the Crocs and a support, so will face the music if there is any!!
