I wrapped some packages last night and another one this morning and finished the scarf before I caught the bus to Castle Road, the stop nearest the studio. They were busy in there but when it got quieter I had a chat with Donna and Sandy and Sandy took a picture of me with the scarf on!
Is is warm and not itchy, which is good. I walked into town from there, I had four packages to send off and the queue wasn't too bad in the post office. I had printed a few photos from my trip and called in to see Georgia, who luckily wasn't busy. She enjoyed looking at the pics and thought Mark looks like me. When I got off the bus coming home I spotted the moon in the sky. I love seeing the moon during the day, and it reminded me of the trip a bit as I had been looking at the moon phases with Kate and even made the phases out of Oreos!
When I got home my dvd of the first series of the Doctor Blake Mysteries had arrived. I have watched the very first episode and loved it.
I would recommend this series to anyone, and Craig McLachlan is almost as gorgeous as Martin Shaw! Still thinking about getting the Christmas cards written, maybe later.

  1. The scarf looks good, and didn't take you that long to do. I love wearing my scarf now, it keeps all the cold drafts off my neck. I get more and more wrapped up every time I go out. I'm getting to be a real wimp! I do like feeling warm these days though, so I don't care.
I've never seen the dr Blake series, and didn't realise he played the lead. He looks a bit different to what I remember him in Neighbours....or was it Home and Away?

    1. Yes it was Neighbours, he plays a maverick doctor who does the police autopsies and usually ends up solving the crime after ruffling a few feathers! He plays the part brilliantly. I am pleased with the scarf, and the cold weather will soon be back.
