I got up early, used the Teasmade for two today and took Darren a cup of tea. He left for the weekend just after 7 am. I did some household chores and got some washing in before I went to have my flu and shingles jabs. The shingles one was quite painful for a bit but it soon settled down. I went to town on the bus, using the walking stick today. I had a wander round and did go to the mobility centre but they were closed for lunch so I will go another day, it will be better when town is quieter if I decide to try a mobility scooter. There was a man playing pan pipes, sounded good, but he looked even better.
I caught the bus home, watched a film that I got at a boot sale called 'The Blindside' with Sandra Bullock. It was based on a true story. I did a few more chores and have kept an eye on the cats. Tina will be home quite late tonight. I have a cloud theme going, tonight clouds and later sunsets.
The sunset has been different again tonight

I have ordered a lot of photos to make a scrapbook as a present so have been sorting out the papers so that I am ready to go when they arrive.
Enjoying Strictly now.

  1. Well apart from someone sticking needles in you it sounds like a reasonable day. Glad to hear you're still considering having a go on a scooter. Trouble is I think you'll definitely want one once you've had a go :-)
I've not seen the pan pipe players in Peterborough lately, maybe they're the same ones and have moved up north! They do sound nice, and the music was extremely popular at one time. I've used to have a couple of CDs myself, but didn't find them when I had a music sort out recently.
Love the middle sky photo. The sunset and the clouds make it a great shot!
