A bright day today, even if pretty cold, so I thought I would try and have a short walk to the glen and see if the autumn colours were more in evidence here is Scarborough. The tree by the entrance of the park is still looking lovely.
I didn't walk through park on the way, I walked up the hill and took the path down straight into the glen. These silvery leaves were glistening in the sunshine, the photo doesn't do them justice.
The lake in the glen is always attractive, whatever the season.
I walked a good way up, not to the bridge, but getting towards it. With the leaves fallen this made for a picture in yellow.
I love the sunlight through the trees.
Heading back down and still snapping away!
Loved this little colourful tree.
I had a cup of tea at the cafe and spotted this interloper on the lake, not sure what it is!!
This afternoon I have done quite a bit of the crochet and watched some House. Then went downstairs and made a lamb lasagne and a veggie lasagne. There will be enough left over from both to put a few more meals in the freezer. Almost time for Strictly, the standard is fantastic, so looking forward to it.
A couple of very good pics of the Autumn colours in there. The park is so nice, and so big too. Plenty of different spots to visit and photograph.
ReplyDeleteYou've kept quite busy today from the sound of it, which is good. Just don't overdo it.
Mmmmm, the lasagne sounds good, bet it smelled and tasted good too :-)
It was pretty there today, worth getting out for. the lasagnes were pretty tasty.
ReplyDeleteLove the Autumn colours, how lucky Tina and Darren must feel to have their meals ready and waiting and sooooo tasty.
ReplyDeleteI love the autumn colours too. Never made a lamb lasagne before, very tasty, except for Tina who doesn't like lamb, hence the veggie one as well! x
