This morning a did some chores and the a bit of jigsaw before leaving to go to Blairgowrie with Darren who had something he needed to sort out there. Some different knitting in the little park, not so complicated but patriotic.
I made my way to the Nest and waiting to cross the road this enormous lorry was turning in a pretty narrow road.I bought some bits in The Nest costing a whole £4.We had a very nice lunch and went into a couple of shops before returning home. Loved this sign outside a shop, and very appropriate at the moment as it is exactly what was said to me.Spent some time with Darren working on the jigsaw, not exactly racing through it are we?
This evening went grocery shopping with Tina and took this photo from the car on the way home.Watching the European @Athletics Championships now, finger crossed ther will be a medal for UK

Glad you got out for a little trip with Darren. You always enjoy that π
ReplyDeleteAs you say the knitting doesn’t have to be complicated. At times a simple one like that says all it needs to.
Not sure I’d like to be driving huge loads like that around the narrow streets. Looks like he made it though.
You are bad! All the decluttering you do then you go out a buy more stuff to fill up the spaces π I’m just the same!
The sign on the board is great π
It’s probably better to take longer to do the jigsaws. At least you get your money’s worth out of them.
That’s a lovely pic to finish with. Great sky and you know I like silhouettes.

Difficult to resist at The Nest, such bargains to be had!
ReplyDeleteThe sign really made me smile, it does seem to be the response to lots of things!
As you say, taking your time with the jigsaw makes it better value!
The sky was pretty dramatic on the way home from shopping.
