Must be acting my age!

I have had another fairly relaxed day. I removed the dead flowers from my bouquet and refreshed the water, still quite a bit of life in them. A put a few more pieces in the jigsaw, getting well on the way.

I went across to have my hair cut at 10.30, it hadn’t grown that much but she tidied it up and thinned it out! I did some tidying in the garden but not any heavy stuff, I have a bench on order to see if it will be suitable for the bonsai trees.
I had a phone call to say the painted pottery was ready, so after lunch I walked into Dunkeld, the green is beginning to show in the hills now.
All of our pottery pieces turned out well.

I had a late arrival card today and a brooch with a farthing in, so have a set now.
I have finished the jigsaw now except for one piece which I will hunt for tomorrow.
Maybe I will feel inclined to clear a bit more garden tomorrow, but don’t hold your breath.

  1. A few relaxed days will do you good. You should have more of them 🙂 No doubt you’ll make up for it another and end up slaving in the garden!
The jigsaw seemed to come on in leaps and bounds. It went from looking very hard to almost done. Well done actually as I’ve just read the last part of the blog 🙂
Think I need a haircut too. Maybe I should shave it off 😳
That’s a lovely pic of the river and lots of green. I’ve not seen a pic yet where it doesn’t look good. Greenery or not.
I like all of the pottery pieces. Is the bird just a little pot or a candle holder? The others are obvious, apart from the crab/lobster. I assume it doesn’t serve a second purpose. They’ve all come out really well. You lot are all old hands a pottery painting 😊
I nearly sent you a card slightly different to that one. It said “Isn’t it weird being the same age as old people”.
Hope you find the final bit of the jigsaw. That would annoy the hell out of me 😊
Is your bonsai bench arriving tomorrow? If not leave the garden until another day!

  2. I think the bird is a candle holder, very cute. But we all did well, practice makes perfect they say!
Don’t know when the bench is coming and it is. Self assembly, although can be done in fifteen minutes apparently………
All the delivery people seem to just leave things in the shed or on the doorstep, don’t usually bother with knocking!
