Still not feeling 100%, more like 50%! I did get into the garden for a bit and hoed the res I have planted out, as the ground elder was popping up in several places, theonlywyto keep the beds looking good is regular hoeing, and hopefully pull a few more roots out each time.
After lunch Tina dropped me off in Dunkeld as I wanted to get some fresh veg for dinner, was going to do the first roast dinner in the oven here. I walked home and to be honest that was enough for today, I tire very easily at the moment. I managed to miss the rain which was good.I did a crossword and started sorting out the edge pieces of the new jigsaw. We had dinner which turned out quite well and I may try to get the the edges done of the jigsaw.
Yesterday I bought a set of colour yourself greetings cards, two of each design. I have a nice set of colouring pencils so they will get an outing at some point!

It takes a while to get back to the full 100% when you've been low for a while. Sleep and rest is the way to go. A bit of hoeing isn't too bad, and it does all look good where you've done it. A non rushed walk is good too. I mostly only do one way on my walks these days. I don't feel old in my head, but my body has other ideas.
ReplyDeleteA nice roast dinner sounds good. I rarely do one nowadays as it a lot of faffing for one.
I do hope this jigsaw is a bit easier than the last one! Time will tell.
I like the greetings cards. I don't think my eyes would be keen on me concentrating to colour them. I'll look forward to seeing the result when you've finished.
Yes, a much quieter day and I definitely needed it.
ReplyDeleteI do think I may be able to keep the beds garden reasonable with very regular hoeing.
The set of cards was quite expensive but bought at the V&A so it all helps it to keep free to see.
Edge down of the jigsaw, pic tomorrow, I only missed two pieces which isn’t bad.
