Garden, lunch, more plants, garden!

This morning I worked another hour or so in the garden working along the same bed. Tina knew I wanted to get some more plants so we went out to a garden centre that doesn’t have many plants but had a good cafe, and had lunch. Very adventurous, I haven’t had black rice before!

We then actually went to B&Q as the one here has a very good garden centre. Got a collection of plants, a power washer and a small rotary washing line! Not too many plants as I haven’t got all the ground ready yet!
We went to Tesco and got very reduced Easter eggs and dropped a bag off at the tip. We had a cuppa and got changed and both went into the garden. Tina did a fantastic job clearing the weed from te path nd I got most of the plants in. A close up of the white Disney as it is so pretty.
The bonsai trees are budding nicely now,

I have eaten too much chocolate, so feeling a bit sick, serves me right. May do a bit of the puzzle as Pandora has settle in her basket this eveningl

  1. Your lunch looks lovely. I’ve never had black rice either, unless you count overdone rice pudding πŸ˜‚
A nice selection of plants. You’re definitely going the right way about it. Clean a bit of garden then fill it. What doesn’t get done now will get done at some point. What you have done and planted looks really nice.
Reduced Easter eggs won’t do your waistline any good, but it’s only once a year 😊
The path does look nice and clear now. It’s great having help out there. Nice having someone to talk to and less work to do. Win win. The daisies do look nice.
Seems that the bonsai like the Scottish weather with all those buds.
The chocolate sickness will soon go away. You’ll probably fancy more later. Treat yourself 🍫 🐣
Bet Pandora has a bit of lap before the night’s out.

  3. It doesn't seem like two months. It feels like you've been there forever 😊
