Dunkeld and repotting Spiky!

I will start with a jigsaw update, Tina and Darren have both put some pieces in but it is proving to be slow progress still.

I walked into Dunkeld this morning and right along the Main Street to see the building I had noticed when in the car with Tina.
I walked through it and went a little way along but there were a lot of cars so I went to a path that was at the corner of the car park it veered behind the cathedral and some different views.

I did try a sketch but will call it scribble of the day!
I think the walk yesterday had more of an effect than I had realised as I felt really exhausted walking home, so sat with the cat for a while. I did repot the plant I rescued yesterday, I had watered it well yesterday evening and it looks quite happy now. It is called Spiky and it is and it was quite difficult not to get damaged while repotting.
Best not rescue anymore plants as there will end up being no room for me!
The good news is that my Scottish bus pass arrived.😊

Darren and Tina went out for a bit today so a good birthday weekend.

  1. You’ll be very relieved when that jigsaw is finished. It’s a stinker!
That is a very nice building. What is it? I can’t read the sign 😊 That’s a nice pic. The lovely sky sets it off.
You say about the different views, but all the pics you’ve posted have been different. The different seasons later on will make things interesting too.
Scribble of the day really doesn’t do it justice. It’s a very nice scribble 😊 There’s lots going on in that and you did well to capture it all. Plus it probably only took you ten minutes 😂
I’m not surprised yesterday’s walk has left you feeling worn out. Uneven ground and uphill too. I’d have been on my knees 😊
Spiky does look happier in its new pot. It looks like it’s breathing out. It’s like Kew Gardens in your lounge. I like it. I’d do the same but I know they’d all die for me ☹️
I’m pleased you’ve got your bus pass. That didn’t take too long. No excuse for not going further afield now. Beats walking uphill 😂
Glad Darren had a good weekend for his birthday. It makes all that travelling worthwhile. It’ll be so much better when he gets up there permanently.

  2. The jigsaw is a stinker, but have done a fair bit this evening!

I think it is a post entrance gate, will try to find out. It is very impressive though.
Took me longer than ten minutes, but I wasn’t timing it
It is a bit like a florist shop on here. Think it is time to stop adding any more!
Darren has another full day here tomorrow, think he is hoping to get in the shed for a bit.
