This morning I did some washing and watered the house plants, I need to rearrange them a bit and get some different plant pot holders.
I spent about an hour and a half in the garden, doing a bit more of the bed and got the two lavender plants in that we got at Lidl yesterday and hoed all the beds again as the weeds are beginning to pot up in large numbers! I just cleared the bit after the white flowers.
This afternoon I decided to follow the path that I couldn’t get onto last week. It was a woodland walk but went up a lot so I was quite high when I turned back. Quite a few pictures, I loved the cottage with the rustic bridge to the door in the third photo.. I am writing the blog earlier today as I will probably go along to the bowls club with her later, as an observer!

Sounds like you need another trip to a garden centre. Gardens are very needy aren't they? If it's not digging or hoeing it's new pots etc. And I thought keeping a cat was bad.
ReplyDeleteI like the cottage too. That'd do me. Nice and quiet and my own bridge, perfect. Seems you found another nice spot to walk. Shame everywhere is so steep. You could definitely do with a quad bike. There'd be no holding you then 😊
Hope you're not too achy tonight.
It was a nice walk, so quite so dramatic as some, but the size of the trees and the hills make it very different to what I amused to. Those ferns unrolling their ferns were uite a sight.
ReplyDeleteWith going out this evening I have done over 12000 steps and am a bit achy, but not too bad.
