This morning we both did some household chores and I did put a few more bits in the jigsaw. After lunch I walked into Dunkeld. I did do a sketch even though it was spotting with rain.
After that I went into Corbenic for a drink and one of the girls skied me what I had be doing, so I said sketching and she and the other lass had a look and were very complimentary, which was quite sweet. I called in at the community archive store and bought this postcard which is interesting as it is the quote from Macbeth.Took a photo on the bridge on the way back, the black headed gulls re quite small and pretty.Back home I did alter a hat which I have been meaning to do for some time and shortened a pit of trousers which haven been on the to do list for quite so long. May get back to a bit of jigsaw this evening.

Household chores are a real nuisance as they stop you doing enjoyable stuff π At least you got out for a walk. The sketch is very good as usual, so I’m not a bit surprised the girls were complementary. The sketches are lovely things to look at, especially when you can’t do it yourself. It’s a talent and you happen to have it π
ReplyDeleteI like the postcard, but I had to look up Dunsinane as I didn’t know it was a hill where Macbeth’s castle was. I’ve learnt something tonight now π
The black headed gulls do look cuter than their larger counterparts. Do the make the same noise though?
If your todo list is as long as mine then you’ve done well to shrink it by two π
Have fun with the jigsaw.
It is interesting up here, not one person has come across to talk to me or have a quick look at what I am doing. I wouldn’t mind, a lot of people have in the past.
ReplyDeleteThe smaller gulls are not nearly as loud as the herring gulls.
It is weird to think the Birnam Oak is that old, but it is huge tree.
If I see someone sketching I nearly always have a look. I suppose I'm just nosy compared to the polite people up there π
