Unbeknown tomeTina had taken a photo of me working on the jigsaw before starting the day properly, with a not very helpful assistant!
I did go out in the garden for a while, I wanted to get a couple of plants into pots and clear a bit more of the bed by the hedge so that I could get the third heuchera in. The plants are now in the pots and the bed cleared although it was the hardest section yet!
After lunch I walked to Dunkeld, I wanted to get a small gift for someone and I did take my sketchbook.
This was a different view from where I was sitting.
Although I feel a bit better in myself today, walking back from Dunkeld I was really struggling again and it is less than a mile. Flopped in the chair for an hour or so when I got in. Tina got home quite late from a visit and said the pizza van was still by the arts centre, so I nipped over and got tea! Took a couple of pics while I was waiting.

ReplyDeleteEven a little bit of gardening a day can be quite hard consisering all the roots your'e having to dig out. You do seem as though you're taking it a bit easier these days. Which is definitely a good thing. Little and often as they say. It's gradually creeping along, before you know it you'll be at the end! It definitely looks better after a bit of TLC.
Once again I like the sketch. It's nice when you go for a walk like that, it's just the coming back that's the hard bit. Flopping in the chair is so nice too 🙂
Pizza for tea saved a bit of cooking, and I bet it tasted good. I like the frog.
You should relax in the sunshine like Pandora. Maybe not curled up on the floor though, getting back up is a bugger 😂
Tina sorted some pieces for me, Pandora just likes to lay on the jigsaw, likes to be near her people wherever they are!
ReplyDeleteI think the garden has to be done in small chunks now, it seems to have more weed and roots as I go along.
It was a lovely day, turned really too warm so I was over dressed, which didn’t help, but at least I sat while doing the sketch.
The pizzas from the van are very good.
