Quiet morning, busy afternoon

We did go to the boot sale this morning, and Darren’s leg is a lot better so he managed to walk all the way round. I just bought another six bedding plants and a lovely glass chopping board which was only £1.50.
I did a bit of tidying and had a chat with Anya before getting lunch.
This afternoon I went out to the garden again and decided to clear and dig the bed by the greenhouse where I have grown sun flowers the last two years.
That took a bit over two hours.
I had a short break and a cuppa indoors then went out and got fifty of the plants into beds. Hulk in the front and half in the back.
We had dinner later tonight as Tina had a service at out usual eating time. All cleared away now and soon be time to watch the Throw Down final.

  1. Glad to hear Darren’s leg is better. I hope he found something for himself? I like the chopping board. A bargain. More bedding plants! Still it is a very big garden you have to full.
You made a good job of the sunflower bed. It looks really good soil. Are you growing more sunflowers there again or something different? Hopefully now you’ve got the plants in and some of the beds done you’ll have a bit of a rest from it for a while, before you end up totally knackered 😂
Throw Down is good. I’m watching it now.
