Hoe those weeds!

I have had another fairly quiet day, did change the bedding and did a few chores. Had lunch out with Tina at The Black Horse which was very good.
When I went out to visit Lesley I took this photo but it focussed on the plants so it’s ‘Find the cat if you can’.
I went round the garden and hoed the beds. Said I would take some photos, the plants didn’t go far with so many beds, but they are looking reasonably today and some colour.
That is just the back garden, didn’t take photos of the beds in the front.
I am going to take a break from the blog for a while, have been doing it for over ten years now and have enjoyed it. A bit of a break may give me renewed enthusiasm. So bye bye for now.

  1. A fairly quiet day is good for you. You don’t have many fully quiet days as it’s not in your nature.
I did find the cat, although it does blend in well.
The beds are looking tidy and colourful, so that’s definitely a win! I do love to see it when it’s like that, but it’s just so much work. As you say though, the bedding plants don’t go very far in a garden that size. You really need a truck full or a VERY large greenhouse to grow your own!
A break is a good idea. I think you’ve only had one other since you’ve been doing the blog. But I could be wrong. I’m sure you’ll soon get back into it with renewed vigour after a short break. I’ll look forward to your return.
    Au revoir.

  2. I do feel quite pleased with the progress I have made getting the beds tidied this year. At least I am a bit more ahead of the game than usual!
The quieter days have been good, I could get used too it!
I know you will be back commenting when I return. 😃
