The garden is looking pretty good for this time of the year, I cleared the path near the front wall and also weeded the walled garden. I don’t like it getting too overgrown s sometimes frogs hide under the large damp leaves and I would hate to rake one! There were some nettles and the roots spread and they pop up in all directions. Managed to pull a few lengths out.
Quite a nice sky yesterday evening.
Today I caught the bus into Hull, I haven’t done that for a while. I just wanted some conditioner but enjoyed walking to and over the bridge I like and along to Humber Street where there are some nice arty shops.
A lovely daffodil in the front garden.
I have had a pain in the neck and up into my head so today I bought a weird looking massager, reduced and only £4, worth a try!
Good to see you back, even if it is only temporary. You will have to see how it goes and how you feel.
ReplyDeleteI should think the garden is looking good after all the effort you put into clearing and tidying it recently! I really like the seclusion of the walled garden, but I know the weeds shoot up everywhere in there. I also know your fear of hurting the frogs that sometimes lurk in the undergrowth.
Hull is always a nice cheery place for you to visit. I know you always enjoy going there. Looks a nice day too from the pics, so that is always a bonus. That bridge is really nice. I’m assuming the pic below is from the bridge. Very nice. Hull does well for funky bridges as the BIG one is pretty nice too 🙂
I see what you were referring to in the email now. I’m curious how you got with the massager. Very unusual thing. Looks more like a torture instrument 😂
Not sure about the massage thing, will try it for a day or two, very strange.
ReplyDeleteHull is an interesting city, I don enjoy walking around there. The boat picture wa taken from the bridge.
