I went out to the post box and shop but otherwise have been indoors. I used very fine sandpaper to smooth the small pieces I made with the air dry clay then painted them. This afternoon I added. Bit of decoration, I will varnish them as I think they are too fragile to add and findings to.
Getting dinner was long winded today as it was pork and I never get the crackling right! So today I followed the convoluted instructions that came with the crackling joint. It did work but ai won’t be doing it again any time soon!
Did a sketch while sitting in the lounge downstairs, unbeknown to the subject!
Will be going down to watch Throw Down in a bit.
Another day in won’t do you any harm. Best wait until you’re totally over the big before trying to do too much.
ReplyDeleteBlimey, the clay parts look so different after a bit of sanding and painting. I’m really looking forward to seeing the finished items.
I never have wonderful luck with pork cracking. It’s either really good, or really bad! I’ll let you work out which is the usual result 🙂
I like the sketch. You don’t usually do people. Definitely Darren though. The headphones are a dead giveaway 😂
I’m in the process of watching last weeks episode of throw down, so not sure when I’ll watch this weeks. It may be this evening.
I think it will probably be a fairly quiet day tomorrow as well. Not going to see Sarah and David just in case I am still infectious.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if the air dry clay will survive having bits added to it, but it has been an enjoyable experiment. Have warned Darren that I did a sketch, as he does look at the blog!
