Icy wind on visit day

The third puzzle of the subscription arrived yesterday and today I sorted out the edge pieces. Quite a different subject but it will be an interesting one to do with all the characters and boats.

When I went to leave the house to visit Bel this morning I thought it would be warmer as there wasn’t any frost today. I was wrong aas the wind was bitterly cold, I nipped back in for the hat and gloves! Bel was fine except she has chilblains! Not sure how as she doesn’t go out a lot.
After lunch I wrapped up and walked to the post office on the way to Jeans. Then I went up to the sea front, it was blowing a gale and so cold, but it made the sea very foamy with the off sea wind.
I decided to do a sketch but could hardly keep the book still and my fingers were so cold. But did my best in the icy wind!
Jean seemed a bit brighter today and had done some baking this week. Terry gave me a lift home as usual.
No plans for this evening, and pinned down by Pandora at the moment!

  1. That is an unusual picture for a jigsaw puzzle. Plenty in it to make it just hard enough though 🙂 You’ll fly through it!
It was bitterly cold today, and I’m sure it colder for you being so close to the sea. Still nice to go to the front though as long as you’re wrapped up warm. Good job you had the hat and gloves 🙂
That’s not a bad sketch considering the icy fingers. I’d revert back to indoor subjects for a while if I were you.
Glad your visits went well and they are both ok. Baking sounds good. Something nice with your cuppa?
Sounds like Pandora has decided you need a relaxing evening in the chair. Think I agree 😊

  2. Yes, two pieces of home made cake today so quite a treat.
Pandora has now decided under the radiator is a better option!
I like to see the foamy sea, well, I like the sea whatever it is doing really!
