Try to bend that leg!

That is my very boring mantra at the moment, and it has been a difficult one to carry through as bending is not in the knees vocabulary at the moment. As soon as I start to walk more that a few steps it just locks up and trying to bend it is very uncomfortable! I even resorted to the knee support today which I haven’t used for a few weeks since being told not to by the doctor! I did get into the garden to feed the birds today and  this shrub that I bought a while back has produced some late flowers.
I took a photo the bits I bought yesterday at the JYSK store. That includes the cover which was labelled as a duvet, but it is very light and more like an old fashioned eiderdown. Have used the watering can today and have tried the face roller. The gonk is for Jean as she has loads of them!
Bel came to see me this morning, she has had a restful week as she had family visit last weekend and it made her very tired, but she had a great time. It was her nephew and his wife and they had travelled from Jersey.
I had a dental appointment this afternoon and left with plenty of time to spare, as my journey through the town was more stop that start! I did post some letters that we took with us yesterday and still had in the bag when we got home! Also called in the bakers and collected my prescription. The dental check up was okay, quick scale and polish as well, in the ten minutes and the purse £88 pound lighter! Was pretty achey when I got home but good to get the teeth checked over.
I did a little more to the jigsaw. Bel lent in to me and I told her this morning that it is a stinker!
The large plant has one leaf now dying off so have propped it up. It is changing colour, but the new led is growing andI think it will start to open soon. So pleased that it is now do now dong okay.
Not planning on being energetic this evening, it would be good to feel a bit more motivated. Maybe tomorrow!

  1. Good job you have willpower and patience! I think I would have given up and cut the leg off by now if it were me 😂 You’re still managing to do a few bits most days though, so that’s good. At least you know your teeth are all right! 🦷 😄 £88…blimey!
I do hope you manage to save the large plant. Be a shame to lose it now.
I’m not surprised you’re not feeling too motivated. I know you’ve had a lot of enforced relaxing lately, but I’m sure it does you good.

  2. Got to try and keep moving a bit, don’t Brant the knee locking up never to be bent again!
I think the plant is fine, apparently it is usual for a leaf to die off when a new one appears.
