Stay home day

That is pretty much the truth, I did go out about nine but just to the churchyard where I swept the path again so that it was safe when people arrived for the service. I did some washing and sorted some bits in the utility room. When the cats were in I went out to feed the birds and then thought I would try to clear some leaves off the lawn. It didn’t look too bad but the grass is long and has quite a lot of leaves wedged in among the tufts, as it is a very uneven lawn.
I got the leaf gathering contraption out and managed to fill it a couple of times, that was almost a sack full, then the rain got heavier, it started just after I got gong!
I struggle to get down the garden without the rollator so tried to push the leaf  collected back by pushing it with the rollator. That was not a success!
I did some more household chores, working through them! Then sat and sorted out the edge pieces of the Turner painting jigsaw. This one is truly going to be difficult, pretty much impossible, but this time I only have myself to blame!
I spent quite a while not getting the edges done. May try in daylight tomorrow.
Feeling pretty weary this evening, had a very broken night again last night. If it is dry tomorrow may try gathering leaves again!

  1. A stay at home day for both you and me then. But you’ve probably done a lot more than I have 😊
Leaf collecting on a normal sized lawn isn’t bad, but you don’t have a normal sized lawn so it’s a bit of a nightmare when the grass is a bit long, even with new fangled super duper machinery 😂 I love the fact you used the rollator to try to push it back!
The new puzzle does look a bit hard to say the least. All those edge bits look the same colour in that pic! Good luck. As you say though, it’s your own fault this time 😊
Hopefully your night will be a better one tonight 🤞

  2. The edges are all plain colours and yes, a lot are very similar, as is the whole picture really, might take a while!
I had to get the lawn rake ot lift some of the leaves, as they are not only embedded in the grass, but wet as well, so the gadget wasn’t picking a lot of them up!
Will see if it is even wetter tomorrow!
