My memory jog this week, two years ago I was finishing my stint looking after the nuns near Windsor, and had a trip to the city just before I came home. It was certainly a experience I won forget, I think the nuns have moved to a different house now.
I was there just after I had had one carpel tunnel surgery and just before the second bodged surgery. Then last year the corrective surgery which thankfully has been a success.
When Jean went home I went out to top up theBird feeders and it was good timing sky wise.
The giant leaf is pretty much open now and at the base there is a new shoot. So a happy plant at the moment.
Darren and Tina will be on their way tomorrow afternoon, and actually starting the cruise on Sunday.
I remember the nun babysitting 😂 You have had some strange experiences over the years!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely good timing for the skies. They’re very nice.
The leaf is getting there. The new shoot is a bonus too. You must be doing something right with it.
I bet they’re looking forward to the cruise. A nice peaceful time for you too, apart from all the jobs you’ll no doubt be doing while they’re away 😂
Yes, that one can be classed as a strange experience, certainly very different.
ReplyDeleteJust timed it right going outside this afternoon, has been. Nice day but quite chilly.
Fingers crossed the plant keeps on thriving.
