The shopping delivery today was bits for me, but the bulk was not for consumption this week, no guesses needed to see what some of the week will be taken up with!
I was going to go to Sher’s new shop, but as I neared saw that it wasn’t open yet. She had a lady there for a few days selling unusual clothing so thought I would try again later. Darren suggested a trip up to Freeport, we had a coffee, then called in at the pottery painting place. She still can’t get hold of the Nessies but the good news is that my items are going to be fired this week. Then we took a slow walk up to Pound Stretcher and bought a few bits, then a slow walk back down! Darren is very patient.
When we got back I noticed that Sher had the shop open so went to have a look. I bought a couple of things for Tina that she has packed and are on the trip with her! Also got myself a top and a pair of fairly large but light leather earrings.
I went along the main street after Darren and Tina set off and went into the garden to feed the birds. Then changed the bed clothes but not a lot since then! Have enjoyed Strictly and now watching Dolly Parton on tv.
Yes, I can guess what one of the jobs is you’ll be doing. Should keep you busy for a while! I can taste it now 😄
ReplyDeleteDarren is good taking you shopping. Although he was probably trying to get out of packing for the holiday! I hope they have a good time and take lots of pics. I’d be interested in seeing them.
I like the leather earrings. Going by the size of them compared to the hooks, they do look rather large. Definitely your sort of thing though.
I hope you don’t go mad and do too many jobs around the house while they are away. Loll around and relax. Run the hoover round the day before they get back 😂

Quite a lot of cakes to get finished this year, so will be good to get the marzipan done.
