X-ray and phone

I caught the train into Perth this morning as I needed to get to the hospital to have my hip X-ray and then into the city to have my phone looked at or replaced. Perth Station is new to me, I followed the way out signs and at one point seem d to be on a deserted platform, until I found a well disguised archway. When I got to the exit I asked directions to the hospital and was told I should go out of the back exit so had to make my way back across whee I had come to behind platform seven! By the time I left the station I had already walked over a mile. It was a bit over a mile to the hospital and a pretty unpleasant walk along a very busy, fumey road and up hill as well. I didn’t have long to wait to have the  X-ray done but I did have to change nd put on a gown. The gown was good in so much a you put it on over your head so no gaping back but I left my cardigan on and thought I was going to have to get somebody to help me get it off! But I did manage, which was a relief. I caught a bus into the city centre.

Next stop Vodafone, I had to wait for about twenty minutes to see someone, there were three people dealing with customers and I really hope the one that looked like he knew what he was doing finished first! He did and once it was decided I needed a new phone he was amazing, recommended a phone did all the checks etc and set up transferring everything from the old phone. I went off and had some lunch. When everything was done he talked me through using the phone and said if I had any difficulties write them down and and come in and he would help me.

I did take some photos at the hospital but didn’t get onto Google photos before the old phone was disconnected, but I have taken photos, three new bears!

The station is on the outskirts of the city so another reasonable walk, ending up a hill of course. Took a couple of picture on the way, I think the camera is pretty good.

and one from the walkway at the station.
WS pretty tired when I got home so sat an unwound for a bit, but did set my notification and ringtones and managed to get the hearing aids connected.
Watching the football with everything crossed!

  1. That’s typical. The way you think is the way to go is always the wrong way. But you can guarantee if you went the other way first, that’d be the wrong way too 😊Getting the X-ray done is a good thing out the way. Hopefully it’ll show something up that can be sorted. It sounded like quite an arduous and smelly journey up the the hospital.
You’re very lucky when you go into phone shops. You usually get a very helpful young man to sort things out for you, and today was no exception. The new phone is definitely better, at least you can hear people now 😊
I wonder how many of those bears there are.
The pics all look good from the new camera. Lot of detail when you zoom in.
I bet you were worn out when you got home. Easy day tomorrow?
    Enjoy the football 🤞🤞
