Garden, jigsaw and walk

Firstly I will add to photos sent to me by Tina from yesterday evening.

This morning I worked a bit on the jigsaw, slow progress as you can see.
I have finished the head now as I did some more this afternoon.
I did some weed pulling in the garden around the tubs and the parking area, no photos as it was pretty boring stuff but it looks tidier. I did go into the garden to do s sketch this afternoon, I sat in the Shade!
While I had been in the garden I planted up three saplings that were not too leggy.
Tina and I sat in the garden and had a drink and I assembled my new hanging bracket watering device! Tina did take a video of me with it but sadly I done know how to add a video here so will take a photo tomorrow!
I watered the plants that wer in the shade before going for an evening walk. I don’t often walk along the path towards Dunkeld in the evening so the light was different.

I walked under the bridge and along to the bench opposite the cathedral.
The zoom is more on this phone so I managed to get a seagull on those pebbles, albeit not that sharp!
On the way back, near the bridge I went down onto the river edge as I wanted to get a picture of the bridge but there were too many trees blocking the view.

The phone has a photo setting called ‘fun’ so took this picture of the ancient sycamore. Took one on normal setting after and not really a lot of difference.

Then lastly tried taking a flower with the portrait setting!
That’s it for today.

  1. It’s so nice that you get to sit in all that lovely scenery. Great sky too.
The jigsaw does seem to be taking a long while, but that way you get more fun from it. If fun is the right word. Are Darren and Tina dipping in occasionally?
The sketch is lovely. I was looking on the web at a Scottish artist who painted a lot of floral stuff. Her name is Elizabeth Blackadder. I just came across a few of her sketches and followed some links as they looked nice. That could be you another day, famous on the web ๐Ÿ˜Š
A bit of gardening followed by a bit of fun with the watering device ๐Ÿ˜‚ sounds like a perfect gardening routine to me, and the video was good ๐Ÿ˜Š
I do envy you for being able to go on such lovely evening walks, as the scenery can look even better then. Just don’t fall in the river when you get so close ๐Ÿ˜ณ
I can’t see a lot of difference in those two photos either. You must need different subjects for what they call “fun”. The flower has come out nice though. You’ll soon have the new camera fully sussed.
All in all a nice day. Hopefully tomorrow will be a nice day too, with a good nights sleep in between ๐Ÿคž
