I weeded along the long bed today, I haven’t done it for a while but I’d wasn’t too bad. I also got the rest of the plants I got on Tuesday into the ground.intookmtwo photos, one of the whole thing and one of the far end which is getting established.
I went to the the post box and was amazed to see a mobile bank. Seemed strange in such a small village.I did do a bit to the jigsaw but it is proving to be very difficult even though it is a 500 piece. Maybe a photo tomorrow. We had tea reasonably early as Darren was off to Blairgowrie to check out a new gaming place. Tina suggested we got to the Hermitage and park at a different car park that someone had told her about. The walk was mainly in woodland but we did get onto Ossians Hall.
We had a drink when we got back and then I got on with the watering and Tina did some clearing in the rough area at the other side of the bungalow. There is a hydrangea near the back door which has just come into flower, it is a very pretty lace top variety.
If it is cloudy again in the morning I may do some weeding near the tubs at the front of the bungalow.

I’m glad to hear the weeding in that bed wasn’t too bad. After all the effort you put into it originally it seems to be paying off. I suppose it’s just a case of keeping on top of the hoeing and pulling a few weeds here and there on a regular basis. It does look nice, especially compared to how it did look originally. Maybe looking after the garden will become totally enjoyable eventually! Then again……
ReplyDeleteI suppose it’s cheaper for the banks to send out the mobile vans to smaller places so they can shut even more branches down. Is it one you can use?
Your walk looks quite nice. It’s good you’re both getting out for the occasional evening stroll. You may as well make the most of it while the weather is so nice. It probably won’t be so good in the winter months. You seem to be getting some good pics from the new camera.
Enjoy the rest of the evening in readiness for a bit of sedate gardening in the morning 😊
It says it is Bank of Scotland so not sure if it for other bank users.
ReplyDeleteI think I might end up liking working in the garden eventually
It was an enjoyable walk and it was a quiet route, it was busy when we got done to the water.
