Home again.

I did put a bit about the journey in my reply to a comment on the previous post. A couple of pics from the airport.

When we got home Tina helped me make up my bed, Pandora had used it as a toilet and Tina washed evening for me and helped me make it again.
I don’t want to shut her out of the bedroom, so I have used some display boards I have to cover it, will be easy to remove at bedtime.

Tina was sorting out the cupboard in the bathroom, and then we both went into the spare room where we had lots of acquired bedding. I helped her box and bag masses of stuff and she and Darren filled the car and took it to the charity shop.
I was on a second wind then and decided to sort through a large box from Rob that was filled with bubble wrap and newsprint, all just screwed up. I have often wondered why they wrap painted pottery in paper for people to collect. The bubble wrap had some large pieces bur also bags of several sixes which will be perfect for ornament. I also flattened out the newsprint and folded it. Filled a couple of plastic storage boxes.
We have had tea, and now I have a cat on my lap instead of a dog.

I am amazed that I am not more tired, have the tv on now so will probably nod off.

  1. Glad you’re back in the country again. I did read your reply to the other blog post. An unusual end to your trip with a taxi ride from the airport, but worth it for breakfast 😊
I’m surprised you’re not more knackered than you are. What time does your body think it is at the moment. Mid afternoon I suppose. I’m sure you’ll crash out at some point, which may result in a good nights sleep.
I’m sure Pandora didn’t didn’t have an ulterior motive for messing on the bed…..or was it her way of saying if you leave me again, I’ll do it again. Cats are good at blackmail 😊
I would have thought sorting out all the wrapping stuff would have been the last thing you’d fancy doing, but it’s got to be done, so why not.
That looks like a happy cat on your lap. Bet she’ll be on your bed later too 🙂
    Welcome home.

  2. I did start to dose earlier but feel quite awake now. About half four in the afternoon USA time and was up at 6am yesterday and had about an hours sleep on the flight, so should definitely crash out tonight!
I need to buy some birthday cards tomorrow and try and work out how much I can get in the car. Darren will be home but won’t want to get it packed as he will be out in the evening.
Pandora is back on my lap again so may not get myself another drink this evening.
