 This morning before we went out I spent some time reading and more time plying with or sitting with Jasper. At one point I had a different animal on my bed, but not when I was trying to sleep!

A bit after ten we set off for a drive into the city making our way to where Rebecca has her apartment. I have taken a lot of photos today so this may stretch to two posts! The traffic wasn’t too bad and it was a beautiful day which was gret after the rain yesterday. I took a couple of photos as we neared the city.

Rebecca has a very nice apartment and a photo with her by her Christmas tree.

We had a walk to a park near to where she lives.

Then we walk to her local restaurant and had lunch then a taxi to drop us off near Central Park. Photos by the fountains on the way to the park.

Then we had a walk through the park on the way to the zoo.

Then into the zoo. The sea lions were putting on a show with the keepers.

Then lots more photos that don’t need much explanation.

That one was through very wet glass, but thought it was fun anyway. And one more of the park as we were leaving.

It is a small zoo but very happy animals and we enjoyed looking round. A short walk and taxi back to the car park and then the drive home. Happy but weary. Some reading and more plying with an excitable Jasper. We have just had dinner and I am not planning to do much for the rest of the evening. My last full day tomorrow and nothing particular planned at the moment.
