Moody skies and happy birthday Tina

I have felt chilled today and very tired, I was late to be this morning then had a disturbed night. But it has been a quiet and very nice day. Will give a quick summery then lots of pics as I am off to bed once I have done the blog.

A fairly quiet morning, I looked at the cracker making kit but that was as far as I got, more to do than I had anticipated. We opened a present before Tina went to take her services and then some more when we had lunch I had taken a couple of pics through the window in the morning, it looked threatening a lot of the day, but no rain or sleet. I went for a walk after lunch and the wind was really bitter, but I wa well wrapped up.

Lovely afternoon evening watched some tv together and Tina and I had a game of Scrabble. Watched the Strictly Christmas show which was good. A fairly simple dinner and then birthday cake before I came upstairs. So if you don’t want to see picks of moody skies stop looking now!

  1. I’d forgotten you were late to bed after the late service. A bad night doesn’t help much either. Hopefully the early night tonight will put you on track for tomorrow 🤞
It’s sounds like quite a nice day you had. I thought about going for a walk myself, but didn’t in the end. I think I should have made the effort.
Moody skies are always good to look at. You have some really good ones too.
That’s a very bare nativity. Do you think it’s earmarked for a bit of paint?
The Rev looks like she’s enjoying wielding that knife and cutting off the dogs rear end a little too much! 😂 Hope she had a good birthday.

  2. I obviously needed to get to bed as I was up pretty late as well!
I don’t think the Methodist church are going to paint the nativity as it was plain last year.
It was nice to get out for a bit as the wind was icy but it was a nice day and I like moody skies, not that anyone would have guessed that!
We enjoyed the cake, Tina had the tail!
