This morning I was up later than usual, seem to be ridiculously tired most of the time. Did a couple of chores then court the bus up to Freeport, but not before I took pics of the trees and church in the winter sunshine.
The bus driver was definitely in the Christmas spirit.I had a drink at the potteries and then a quick catch up with Rob and Caroline. I did a bit of shopping, including last minute gifts! Then I walked home, slowly, as I was very achey today. Took a last photo for today.Had lunch with Tina and watched a Bargain Hunt then went and bought a few bits in the local shops.Since then I bit of moving packed boxes and trying to feel organised and now last minute wrapping, haven’t really managed to get into the Christmas Spirit this year.
Will go to the late service with Darren later, sitting with a neglected cat for an hour now!

Your tiredness comes from overdoing it! I know you don’t have a great deal of option at the moment as the move is getting closer. But when you finally get there, and unpacked, I hope you manage to have a fair bit of down time to recuperate.
ReplyDeleteWinter sunshine always seem more golden. Probably just the brown leaves that make you think that. Nice though.
Are you sure the bus driver was “in” the Christmas spirit, or “full” of it? ππ€£ He looks good π
The Christmas spirit hasn’t really been with me either. Humbug!
Enjoy the service. I hope the church isn’t too cold π₯Ά
Merry Christmas π π»
Been wrapping and some tidying so I can get into bed.
ReplyDeleteThe winter sunshine does make the trees look beautiful.
He is a regular driver on the local bus so he is known to most people that use the service.
