Feeling a bit better

I slept quite well considering I had three hours in bed in the afternoon. The pastilles and medicine seem to be helping and the headache as gone. Tina had letter she wanted posting and I had a package to send so I walk eked to the post office via the park entrance. The winter pond is now back, those trees are very tolerant.

After going to the post office I walked back via the sea, it was a very cold day today.

This afternoon I packed a couple of boxes one with pictures and large flat items and one with small precious ornaments and their display cabinet.
Tina had a zoom call with a removal man in Scotland who will besinding a provisional quote and she has another man coming to give a quote next week. While t was cooking I started dismantling a couple of frames that had lots of photos in. I will keep the photos and the frames can go to the charity shop.
Taking it easy now and won’t go to bed too late.

  1. You obviously needed some sleep. You’ve done a lot recently and we’re obviously starting to become run down. I’m guessing by the end of the moving experience you’ll be feeling much the same again! Glad to hear you’re feeling better today though. I would say try to take it easy, but you won’t 😊
That poor old tree in the park does lead a double life. One normal and one aquatic! Seems to survive though.
Even on a cold day the sea is still worth a visit. You’ll definitely miss that bit. I’m sure you’ll find good things up north to replace it.
It’s best to keep doing a bit of packing here and there as the time it all has to be done will soon arrive. Between you all you have a lot of stuff to sort and pack! Not sure I could cope with it all. I’d stay there and get a tent on the beach 😊 You’ll laugh about all this another day………probably about June or July 😂
Hope you get another reasonable nights tonight.

  2. The throat is still making me cough a bit, but not so badly, and I have felt reasonably okay today.
That winter pond always makes me smile and the tree doesn’t seem to mind. I have been taking some large picture frames down and removing the photos, so that the frames can go to the charity shop.
Going through cards and photos to thin them out is on the agenda as well!
If I like it when we get there then I will laugh about it, only time will tell!
