This morning I left early and called in at a local cafe, it was there or Tesco. The lady in there had a bad night and was glad of a natter so I made the right choice. I was at the pottery a bit early as usual and Rob was in early too as he wanted to be sorted before I arrived. Caroline had been in touch with Rob from her retreat in Peru to tell him what she wanted me to do today. I made several items to be added to stock and made a coil bowl with my left over clay. When I left I called in at Pound Stretcher and then Tesco on the walk home.
This afternoon I did some more button sorting, went to the local shop for a few bits and did a sketch. A pretty relaxed afternoon.
May do something this evening if I can be bothered to move!
Did you go to the cafe for breakfast? Much better then doing it yourself π I’ve considered having every meal out or delivered π
ReplyDeleteI like the caravans you made today. Bet they look good when they’re painted as you could get a lot of colour into them with the bunting etc. I think old fashioned caravans used to be painted in brighter colours back in the day. Not like all the white ones they churn out theses days.
The sketch is nice. I think you’re going to find it hard to miss a day now π
Hope you sat and did nothing, but knowing you………
No, just had a coffee, which is very nice and reasonable price.
ReplyDeleteThe caravan plaques are nice and they have sold out of the odd creature things!
Walking up to the care home today so that’s the exercise sorted.
