And my little house and the coil brown have turned out okay as well.
I walked home as well today, the wind was still pretty chilly but it was a bright day. I dropped my rucksack indoors and went to the shop while I was in my outdoor clothes.
I packed away the sweet jigsaw and have sorted out the edge pieces of the new one.
Not feeling at my best, I have felt tired today and now chilled as well. Sketched one of the plants on the new arrangement as it is next to where I sit!
The light makes it look like dark paper, it isn’t!
May be gong to visit the pottery again tomorrow as mine and Darren’s pieces are in the kiln.
I can imagine how cold the pottery is. You need a set of long johns 😊 All the clay items look really good. I particularly like the little house , and the bees on the roof look so cute. Can’t wait to see that painted and fired.
ReplyDeleteIt’s been a cold day here too. But the sun was shining for a lot of it. I think you feel the cold more if you’re not at your best anyway. Hopefully you warmed up a bit as the night went on and felt better for it.
When I saw the sketch I thought you’d done it in a different book and wondered why, so a good job you explained 🙂
Hope it stays fine if you’re intending another pottery visit tomorrow.
I did warm up during the evening so that was good. Hopefully Caroline will message Jess and they can range to come in and paint their items.
ReplyDeleteI will only go to the pottery again if our pieces are ready as I think Darren’s dragon will be good.
It did look like I had sketched in a different book, what a difference the lighting makes.
