Went in for a break when I got this far!
I got the huge bad that the stones had come in out and transferred all the brambles into it. Then I piled ll the dry stuff into the wheelbarrow, two loads, nd took them down to the burning pile.
Could do with a bit more work, but felt like progress.
After lunch I went for a walk, I went to the park and walked down the lovely new path that had been laid, and did a sketch while I was there.
I carried on to see the sea.
A morning of graft for you then! I think brambles, with roses a close second are the worst things to clear up when they’re overgrown! Did it with roses once. Never again. I think that’s what put me off gardening for life 😊 🌹 Looks like you’re getting there though. It’s looking good and you do have a LOT of trimmings!
ReplyDeleteYou’re lucky that they bother to lay new paths your way. It looks well laid and should last a very long time. They don’t seem to bother here.
The sketch is very nice. Not sure if I should ask how long it took. Not too long I bet 🙂
Nice by the sea today. A bit calmer and sunnier than of late. Roll on summer!
Luckily we haven got many rose bushes!
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely day but deceivingly cold.
That path was needed as the grass used to get quite wet and it is quite a slope down.
