This dummy was in a shop window.
We had a light breakfast in the Victorian Tea House and explored the two floors of antiques above the cafe. I bought a folding cake/plant stand. It seems stable enough for a couple of plants and the weekend job will be rearranging my sitting room.
This puffin behind bars was on our way back to the car.
As was the church.
This afternoon I went for a walk, it was lovely but very cold. Sea and sketch the result!
I have been doing bits to the jigsaw, slow progress, but progress.
We had a power cut earlier, lasted about half an hour, luckily all is well for watching the second part of Vera this evening.
You’d have got away with it with a dog as they’re pretty stupid! Cats on the other hand are very intelligent and tricky 🙂 Glad you got out for a little trip with the Rev though as I know you always enjoy that. Great little stand you managed to get. You’ll be able to fit even more plants in your room now. It’s good that something like that gets a bit more use rather than being discarded.
ReplyDeleteAnother unusual object for the sketch book. You have a great selection of things in it now and plenty of space for lots more. I hope you’re still enjoying doing them?
Hope you didn’t get any further cuts to spoil your evening’s viewing.
It was a shame not catching Pandora but good that we got out for a while, although places were icy and it was very cold it was a beayfiful morning.
ReplyDeleteStill a few pages left in the sketch book and I have got another one rready! I have enjoyed doing then and it gives me a bit of motivation to get out.
