Off colour start but worked it off!

I woke up in a less than good mood, getting tired of painful knees but on the whole it isn’t really so bad. I got stuck into long overdue household chores, always find getting busy help my mood! I did work on the jigsaw and Darren joined me for a bit. After lunch I decided to go for a walk as it was another bright and sunny day, albeit a cold one. The sea was still lively and I did do a sketch when I was out.
I walked back home and did a crossword for a while then Tonia asked if I would like a ride out to Atwick as she had to collect some things from the church. It was quite icy near the church as it is along a lane that isn’t treated, so I sat in the car and did take a couple of pics from the car. One zoomed in a bit.
When I went out with Tina on Thursday I picked a couple of dead hydrangea heads. After tea I did a painting of one.
Tv evening now.

  1. I can’t imagine household chores making you feel better after a painful start πŸ™‚ Each to their own I suppose. I’d be taking pills and feeling sorry for myself! It obviously worked for you though if you decided to go for a walk. Quite bright again this morning, albeit cold.
I like your pics from Atwick. Particularly the zoomed in shot. Very nice.
I knew that your painting was a hydrangea before I read it. It must be a good likeness if I can recognise it. You know how rubbish I am with flowers πŸ™‚
    Enjoy your evening.

  2. It was cold again, but we have had some lovely days.
The sky was lovely and the car parked in a perfect position.
Well done for recognising the flower head.
