Seeing buttons in my sleep!

This morning Tina had a parcel to return so I went to the post office and then up to the sea. Very grey today but I like the photos.
I spent a few minutes fascinated by three little birds, not the usual wagtails and I have never see birds move across the ground so quickly. They were tiny and on the move but managed to catch a couple of shots.
I thought I might do one of the set of three puzzles I got a while ago. Three puzzles of 250 pieces each. When I opened the box all three puzzles were in one bag! I closed the box again very quickly.
Sarah and David asked if I would do a button art session at the As Time Goes By dementia cafe. Not until May but I ordered a pack of 1200 buttons and have started sorting them into colour groups. Have stopped for now as it is hard to differentiate the pink/red, from the yellow/orange in the artificial light.
I did do a sketch in the new little book.
Pottery day tomorrow and I hope to do some clay work.

  1. Lovely sea pics, almost sepia. I think they’re really good. I particularly like the last of the three. Bit of everything including crepuscular rays 🙂
I don’t know what those little birds are, but I remember seeing a YouTube video about them and the do move extra fast. Funny little things.
The three part puzzle sounds like a doozy 😊 I hope you’ve not packed it away for good? I’m sure you’ll conquer it.
That’s a lot of buttons! You do let yourself in for some things.
The sketches are still flowing thick and fast. I wonder if you’ll get to the end of the new book without a break? 🙂

  2. I like the colourless sky pics, more atmospheric.
I am not sure it will be enough buttons for maybe twenty people or so to produce a picture.
I doubt I will go through this sketchbook without a break, but you never know!
