This morning Tina and I did some letter writing, then we went to post the letters and have some lunch, followed by an amble in the park. It is almost a week since Tina left the house, and now she is feeling a bit better a short walk and some fresh air seemed like a good idea. A bit later the sun came out and I went to the park again to feed the ducks with left over bread and to take peanuts for the squirrels. It turned out a bit of a feeding frenzy with the ducks or mostly geese, perhaps not many people had gone with food today!
This little old boy ( or maybe old girl! ) with the damaged ear sat on the table to eat his nuts so that he didn't have too far to go to get another one!
I walked up a different path on the way back home and took a picture of the park through the red twigged shrub.
At the weekend Darren Mike and I got the spider jigsaw out that I had started with Darren in Peterborough. It is a horror with no actual picture! I spent an hour or so again today and put together a few pairs of red pieces. I am not sure it will ever get finished, but I won't give up just yet!
That picture on the tin is the only reference! I will photograph it if it is ever completed.
The squirrel looks very cute, the puzzle not so cute!

ReplyDeleteI think the puzzle would challenge the most avid of jigsaw lovers!! Lovely morning here at the moment but rain forecast later. x
