The weather has been awful today, bitter wind and the gale has been building up during the day. I think the bird feeder may be struggling to stay upright  in the onslaught! Apart from nipping to the local shop I haven't been out, was going to call in at the ceramic studio and then go to the community centre, but decided against both. It isn't wet now and I will walk up the road to the craft class tonight. We have a blackbird visiting the garden now, I worry when he insists on being on the ground, but so far he has been safe. The photo is from the bedroom window and it was blowing a gale, but you can see it is a blackbird!!
The feeders were flying about but the sparrows were still attempting to get there food!
I have spent quite a bit of the day on the jigsaw and Darren joined me for an hour as he was home earlier today. Still a long way to go!

  1. Definitely not the weather for taking blog pictures!

The jigsaw looks slightly more advanced than I remember. Maybe it won't end up in the recycle bin after all.
