Firstly the bird feeder was still standing, well, I say standing loosely as it had about a 30 degree lean! I propped it up as best I could, and the gale force winds haven't let up today. It is still standing, but my makeshift props didn't work that well! I went off to the ceramic studio and took over two hours just painting the figurines hair! It is interwoven with flowers and ribbons and I did paint a couple of places as hair and then realised it was leaves, so have to wash it out. This could take longer that the plate!
I got a taxi to Sainsbury's from the studio and had a bit of lunch and did some shopping. Taxi home as well!! Then walked up to the studio again as I had forgotten to bring home the baubles I painted for Tina's great niece and nephew,
and the bauble box I painted as a present for someone next Christmas.
I was a little disappointed with the blue bauble as the writing is not quite as clear as I would have liked, but still very personal and unique. Darren and I have spent a bit of time on the jigsaw again, we were at it until getting on for midnight yesterday. Well, Darren and Tina did go out but he joined me again when they got home. Now maybe getting on for half done and still no easier!
Blimey, she's got very long hair!
