Wet walk and jigsaw

This morning I took a photo from the porch as the hill was hiding behind the clouds,

I decided to go for a walk anyway and donned raincoat and my allegedly waterproof and slip resistant trainers. Have actually been out in them yet. A couple of photos on the way, the second one is St Ninian’s garden where I volunteer on a Monday.
On the way back I took some try shots nd then decided to chance walking back by the river path. It was very wet and muddy and I had dry feet when I got home, so very happy with the trainers.

The bonsais are doing their best to look autumnal.
I did some jigsaw this afternoon.
Flowers arrived this afternoon, Tina being naughty but nice.
Another porch picture, the cloud and mist were great.
A couple of weeks ago when I was out with Darren we saw a winter hoodie in the Traitors style a Tesco, I resisted temptation then but wished I hadn’t. Darren went and got one yesterday, they only had small or extra large, obviously small would have been no good. I could wear it with Tina in there a well, but I love it!
I made up another one of the bread kits Tina bought. Yesterdays was olive and rosemary and todays garlic and herbs. I tried to get it level but they seem to have a mind of their own! I hope it tastes a good s the first one.
Relaxing with my Traitors hoodie. Haircut in the morning.

  1. A very misty moisty day. Perfect to test your trainers though. Glad they did the job well. It’s nice to be able to march along in the wet without it transferring inside to your feet. I hope they prove to be as non slip as they say. It’s no good having dry feet and a wet and muddy backside πŸ˜‚
Some nice pics, even with all the mist. It makes them look atmospheric. I particularly like the arty shots.
The pathway does look extremely muddy. Perfect for shoe testing.
The bonsai look more autumnal than the full size trees.
The wet weather does mean the jigsaws tend to get done quicker 😊
That looks a really nice bunch of flowers. You’re spoiled πŸ™‚
I love the hoodie…makes you look like a Christmas tree πŸ˜‚ You should have got a light green one. Bet it’s nice and warm though.
I really like the look of the bread. I’m sure it’ll taste very good, and I’m betting it’s already been tested by now.

  2. I enjoyed the walk and it wasn’t raining very hard, so I want like a drowned rat. The scenery here lends itself to all seasons I think, really lucky.
The flowers are lovely, I enjoy receiving them.
The bred hasn’t been sampled yet, we had a big tea and Drren nd Tina are out this evening. Maybe for supper!
I am sitting here in my hoodie, smiling like Cheshire cat.
