Not a lot to talk about tonight, I have been less than with it. Yesterday evening when I was at the bingo evening my head began to really itch and I couldn’t ignore it completely. By the time I wa indoors it wa difficult not to scratch ll the time. It was worse during the night, itched more when my head was on the pillow! At one point I sat up for an hour doing a crossword. I had used a hir product yesterday that I haven’t used for a while and wondered if I had reacted to it. I had a shower and washed my hair thoroughly , I was ssirprised the water wsnt red as I had scratched my head so much! The head ha still itches ll day nd I now realise that I have numerous bites on my head, ll of which are now oozing as I have scratched the heads off. A couple of weeks ago I had four bites on my head and I think both times it has been when I have worked at St Ninians, which doesn’t bode well as I have said I will develop an area. I will wear a cap next week and spry it with insect repellant! Have taken a antihistamine so hope I will be bled to sleep tonight. That a lot of waffle when I sid I hadn’t got much to say!
This morning I sanded down th canes before getting the first lot stuck in the bucket. The instructions sid to gather them all in a rubber band! That proved almost impossible, they kept slipping out and it was quite frustrating!
I got them into the h ker nd then hd to leave the sealant to sure. Now I have to get others into the gaps, they will need cutting down a bit. This project is proving to be quite a challenge.Another picture from my chair this morning,Tina still isn’t properly recovered but we did go shopping this afternoon and I took a few photos when we were out, the trees are reluctant to change colour it seems.Apart from tidying up some of the cane chaos Nd getting dinner I haven’t done a lot. Will hopefully sleep better and feel a bit more energetic tomorrow,

That all sounds very painful and enough to drive you crazy. After being pleased that you have the job of developing that garden bed it’s a bit of a downer to think it’s the cause. Hopefully the cap and repellent will do the job. In the meantime I hope it all heals up before it drives you mad!
ReplyDeleteThe bee house isn’t as simple of a project as I thought it would be. In fact it’s a lot of work and expense. They better flock to it and enjoy it once it’s finished and in place 😊 I can imagine all those bits of cane pinging out of that band 😊 But it’s looking good so far.
The pic from your window looks like there are parachutists dropping to the ground by the church 😊 I know, I’m a sad person.
It looks a pleasant day there judging by the skies in those pics. Glad to hear Tina is getting better now. Hopefully she’ll be fighting fit by next week.
I hope you do get a good nights sleep tonight 🤞🤞
Yes, not great to realise my head is a perfect bug biting target! I will make an effort to fend them off in future.
ReplyDeleteI will get this bee house finished, but whether the second bucket ends up as one is in question!
We saw the odd lovely tree but not at an angle that I could take a photo, maybe the rest will turn before all the leaves hve dropped.
I hope I have a better night too, not that it could be much worse!
