When I was walking home after the film last night there was a light on in the church. Got better pics of the windows that I often get from inside!
This morning I walked into Dunkeld and got to work on the bed that I am going to take charge of.
I started at the back and didn’t really get very far, lots of roots and stones! I dug up some foxgloves and a couple of wild geraniums and replanted then in the area I dug today. This is going to be a work in progress for some time. We have discussed it and I m going to make it into a pollinator bed, rather that just wild flowers, although there will still be wild flowers, hopefully!
It has been a murky day as these two photos show.
Off to a different WI this evening, they have invited Birnam WI to a fundraising bingo evening. A lady is picking me up in a bit, as Tina is a lot better but still not well enough to be going out and about
The windows look really good. They actually look like cardboard cutouts laying on a black cloth 😊

That’s quite a large bed, and if the weeds and roots are as bad as the ones you have at home it’ll definitely be a long job. It’ll be nice to see it complete……..eventually, and know you’ve done it. I’m sure others will appreciate it. You’ve definitely made a start, so slowly slowly catchy monkey 😊
It’s definitely been a miserable day up there. Not a lot better here to be honest. Cloud, drizzle etc.
A bingo evening sounds fun. They obviously don’t know how lucky you usually are with things like that! You won’t get invited again once they find out 😂
