Pottering and walking

This morning I spent some time going through the stuff for the charity shop and packing it better, threw a couple of bits away as well and decided to keep one! I forgot to say that the jigsaw was finished and one piece was missing, found it today so that was a bonus! Didn’t take a picture of it and it is packed away now, that was remiss of me! Have done The edges of the third one that Tina bought.

I did a quick sketch of the conker.
Then was thinking about the bee house and how to attach it to the bracket. As there are ridges on the bucket  and a rim top and bottom I realised I needed to somehow make it level to attach the bracket securely. Mike suggested a metal ruler, thought I had one but must have got rid of it. Then I thought of pennies! Have attached them with No More Nails and will attach the bracket tomorrow. My use a plastic tie as back up as well!
Tina was expecting a package today and they were having a day out, so whine it arrived this afternoon I went for a walk into Dunkeld. Took a photo of Pandora before leaving who was enjoying the sunshine.
Forgot to mention that I did do a bit of hoeing in the garden and the one of the sunflowers has gone to seed nd the other one opening nicely.
A lovely day again so took some photos while I was out.

Darren and Tina got home while I was watching Strictly and bought me a cute little spider!

Strictly was good, will be interesting to see who will be in the dance off.

  1. You better start looking for more puzzles so you don’t run out.
I think the conker is really good. You’ll have to look for more unusual subjects now.
The pennies for the bee house are a great idea. That never even occurred to me. Should do the trick ok. The addition of a zip tie should make the whole thing very sturdy. You just need some bees now ๐Ÿ˜Š
The sunflowers timed that pretty well to keep the colour going.
It was a nice day looking at the pics. Some crackers again. I bet they’ll look just as good with frost on them too ❄️
    I like your spider ๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. I have got another jigsaw on standby. A 1000 piece one that is q painting by a mouth painter, very clever.
I will keep my eye out for other unusual things to draw.
I looked t the insect/bee house we got at a garden centre. No sign of life in it, so I won’t hold my breath that mine will do my better!
    The spider is cute.
