Tina was working in her stuffy this morning so I did some chores and then put some pictures up on the bedroom. Took this photo out of the window early on.
Yesterday evening I got the earrings out and put them back on their holder. I have been alternating between two pairs since I arrived here.

Before we went out for lunch Tina helped me send for my new driving license, well that’s an understatement, she did it for me and it was very complicated. I would have given up! So a big thank you to Tina. I said I would get her lunch so we drove to Dobbies near Perth. We had a very nice lunch and I was very daring and tried the ‘cauliflower and spinach balti pie’ . Very unusual and about as hot as I could manage. I think it was suet pastry which was very tasty. I bought some cat litter and hope Pandora will approve! While we were out Tina got a message to say the television would be delivered to up this afternoon. It did arrive and thanks to Tina again who set it up for me.
Had to open the little gate leg table and then it fitted perfectly. I am watching now and it is very good.
Looks like a square eyed evening awaits!
I think the bedroom is looking good. It’s surprising how the pics and the ornaments make such a difference. You’re good at working out where pics should go. I have no clue when I do it. Willy nilly pics here 😊 only two pairs of earrings in three weeks. Not like you at all. Different pair every day now they’re sorted.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the palaver you went through for the driving licence. I had to renew mine and that was bad enough. Pictures of this, pictures of that, damn nightmare! Good job you had Tina there to lend a hand.
I like the sound of the cauliflower and spinach balti pie. It must be a regional thing as I’ve never heard of it down here. Suet pastry is very good too. It’s making me hungry!

A tv evening sounds a very good plan. You need a few more of them.
It has been a good day and yes Tina was great, the license wouldn’t have been updated if I was doing it!
ReplyDeleteThe pie was certainly different, I did enjoy it although it has played havoc with my heartburn!
It is definitely feeling more like home now, feels like I have been here fo more than three weeks.
The television is very clear, and being a bit bigger means I can read text on there more easily.
